Hallelujah Diet
According to Health Minister Carolyn Mehr, in the year 2000, she was diagnosed with cancer and scheduled for six months of chemotherapy. After one painful treatment she decided that chemo wasn’t for her. Instead, she went on the “Hallelujah Diet,” and within three months CAT scans showed the cancer was gone. Did a diet of raw vegetables, sunshine and exercise truly cure her cancer? Joining Carolyn on the show is breast cancer survivor Sandra Chhatpar who also follows the Hallelujah Diet.

According to their website, Hallelujah Acres is an interdenominational Christian ministry founded by Rev. George Malkmus—himself a cancer survivor. Inspiration for the “Hallelujah Diet” comes from Genesis 1:29 Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;” Though somewhat controversial, “the Hallelujah” as supporters call it, is gaining popularity as health becomes a more important issue.
