Adoption

There is much joy in planning to have children and starting a family. However, not every woman is able to conceive due to a variety of genetic disorders and problems. While this can be devastating and take a long time to accept, there is still a wonderful way for couples to experience the thrill of starting a family and the wonders of parenting a child--adoption. In fact, adopting a child is one of the most rewarding and unselfish things couples can do as it means sharing their lives with someone who may not have had a family.

At the same time, there are many women and girls who are now going through unplanned pregnancies, and are feeling scared, confused, dejected and alone. Giving up their child for adoption may be a rewarding experience for them as well. On this episode of AAR, we share these experiences with you.

Special guests include Josh Yang from the Children’s Home and AID Society of Illinois, an agency that specializes in adoption, Laura Bosi, an adoptive mother and Nancy Gaziano and Lori Pennington, Volunteers at the Save Abandoned Babies Foundation.
