Environmental
Stewardship/Global Warming
As we go about our busy lives, taking care of our families & work,
developing and keeping relationships and trying to make a difference in
people’s lives, we often take other things for granted, like the
air we breathe, the food we eat and the planet we live on. Yet when we
really think about it, these things should be just as important to us because
without the right conditions in the environment, we wouldn’t be alive
right now. God made everything so perfect on this planet than the human
being could exist. But did you know that during our lifetime, we could
potentially consume more resources and energy, and create more waste and
pollution than ever before in human history? The more important question
though is are there any negative side effects because of our increase in
consumption of resources and energy? We talk about the possible risks we
may be taking on this episode of AAR.
Joining us on the show is Ann Alexander, an environmental attorney working
for the state of IL, speaking in her capacity as a board member of Restoring
Eden, a not-for-profit Christian organization devoted to environmental conservation,
and Jeffrey Greenberg, a geologist and ecologist at Wheaton College.
