Gangs

Graffiti.., drug deals.., theft.., gunfire.., innocent bystanders and children shot to death… These things are all evidence of the destructive and dangerous activity of gangs.

The vast community wants gangs out, yet they continue to flourish. Why? What is it that attracts young adults, teenagers, and even children to gangs? What can we do to help these kids? We find out on this episode of All Around Rockford.

Special guests include: Albert Suarez, Ex-gang member of the Latin Kings and now pastor of Bridge Builders International Ministries in Freeport, Frankie Ramos, Ex-gang leader of the Warlords, who is now working towards becoming a minister, and Rev. Ralph Hawthorne, Local Director of Ceasefire, a program designed to reduce violence and help get kids off the streets.
