Healthy Eating

When you think about what you’re having for dinner each night, do you think about what would be healthy for you or what would taste good? Or perhaps do you think what would be the most convenient? Today, people across the US sacrifice their health for convenience, speed and pre-made/processed food. People get too caught up in their world and social lives to think about properly maintaining their bodies, let alone have time to consult God about their eating habits. It isn’t until people get sick that they decide to finally change their diet or lifestyle. By now, you’ve probably gone to some Rockford area restaurants, and seen some special, health items on the menu listed under what’s called either the CHIP or Ornish diet. Just what do these words stand for and what’s behind the programs? You’ll find out in this episode of All around Rockford.
