Raising Health Kids on a Small Budget
In a culture where fast food restaurants are at every corner, every mall
and delivered to your home, we are accustomed to quick and easy ways to getting
food. Often, we are too tired at the end of a long work day to go to a gym, so
we say we will do it later. If we, as adults are thinking this way, what example
does this set for our children? How are our children supposed to know what food
is important and needed daily or how exercise helps keep you healthy and strong?
Perhaps time and money have been issues with eating healthy, but on this episode
of All Around Rockford, we demonstrate how you can easily raise healthy kids
on a small budget. Special guests include Jeanie Burke, Registerd Dietitian and
Life-style Educator from the “Neck to Back Medical Clinic” and Pastor
K. Edward Copeland of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church who incorporates healthy
lifestyle issues into his sermons.
