Racial Prejudice II
Diversity
is the most basic principle of creation. No two snowflakes, blades of grass or
people are alike. This quote by Lynn Marie Laitala should remind us that God
created each one of us to be different and unique and we should celebrate that
uniqueness, not be afraid of our differences or think God created one of us to
be more superior over the next.
Racism is the belief in the superiority of one race over another race, and
prejudice is comprised of negative attitudes, beliefs, and stereotypes, which
are inflexible and resistant to change despite contradictory evidence. On this
episode of AAR, we talk about why people are inflexible and resistant to change
and how to break free from this binding. Special guests include Pastor Kenneth
Board of Pilgrim Baptist Church and Gloria Cudia of the Rockford Park District.
