Coping with and Preventing Suicide

Did you know that more teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia and influenza, and chronic lung disease, combined? Additionally, suicide is now the eighth leading cause of death in Americans, according to the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention. Special guests on this show include Lynne Hofmaster, Leader of Survivors Road2Healing in Freeport, IL, Sally Cantwell, member of the group, Ray of Hope, and Dr. Charles Smith, Chairperson of the Suicide Prevention Task Force.
